The trial of two Greek Cypriots in the occupied territories, facing charges of "personal data breach" and "violation of privacy," is set to continue on Thursday. During today's proceedings in occupied Trikomo, the "prosecuting authority" presented two "witnesses."

The witnesses testified that information about their properties was found in the possession of third parties without their consent, causing them concern. A Turkish Cypriot witness stated that her family received "equivalent property" in exchange for property in Larnaca, and that the "police" informed her that her property title information was found in a file. She testified that she saw an email with her personal information but did not see the sender or recipient.

During cross-examination, she admitted that she did not file a complaint against employees of the "land registry," although she heard that her information may have been given by the "Kyrenia land registry" in exchange for bribery. Another Turkish Cypriot witness testified that the "police" called him, telling him that information about his property was in the possession of third parties, which he considered "fraud."

The defense attorney submitted that the witness's motive was antipathy towards Greek Cypriots, a claim the witness denied. The witness also stated that he would avoid Larnaca airport on his next trip to Britain, traveling via Turkey.

The "prosecuting authority" requested that the proceedings be continued to call another "witness." The "court" scheduled the continuation of the "trial" for next Thursday, November 6, at 13:30. In addition, a summons was requested for another witness on November 12.
