Arrest Made in Nicosia Car Arson Case

A 51-year-old man was arrested today by the Police in connection with the arson of a car belonging to a 49-year-old in the Nicosia district. The incident occurred on September 29.

According to the police investigation, the fire broke out around 00:30 on September 29, in a car parked outside the owner's residence. A resident noticed and extinguished the fire.

Investigations by the Police and the Fire Service revealed that the fire was intentionally set, causing damage to the rear of the vehicle. Following police investigations, evidence emerged against the 51-year-old, who was arrested with a court warrant.

The case is being investigated by the Nicosia CID (TAE Λευκωσίας).
