37-Year-Old Arrested for Attacking Mobile Camera Employee in Limassol

Police have arrested a 37-year-old man in connection with the assault of a 36-year-old employee working in a mobile speed camera vehicle. The arrest was made as part of an investigation into the malicious damage caused to the vehicle.

The 37-year-old was apprehended by members of the Limassol Operations Unit (OPE) based on an arrest warrant. According to the police, the 36-year-old employee was on the Paphos-Limassol highway, in a parking area near the Kouklia exit, when three individuals approached his vehicle. One of them allegedly sprayed the 36-year-old with spray, while the other two damaged the vehicle.

The 36-year-old employee reported the incident to the police. The Paphos TAE (CID) is continuing the investigation.
