4 Richter Earthquake Hits Between Limassol and Larnaca

An earthquake of magnitude 4 on the Richter scale occurred in Cyprus in the early hours after midnight.

According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the epicenter was located between mountainous Limassol and Larnaca, at a shallow focal depth of only 13 kilometers.

The earthquake was of limited duration and was felt by a number of citizens.
