Shooting in Hunting Area: 44-Year-Old Injured

A 44-year-old man was injured in a shooting while working in a hunting area. The incident occurred shortly before 5:00 PM on Sunday. The man reported the incident to the Pera Chorio Nisou Police Station.

According to the report, the 44-year-old was shot in the leg from a distance of approximately 30 meters with a hunting rifle. The injured man was taken to Nicosia General Hospital for treatment.

The hunter involved in the incident also reported to the Police Station. Initial investigations indicate that the incident occurred in an area open for hunting. Investigations are ongoing.
