Car Fire in Famagusta District – Investigation Underway

The cause of a fire that destroyed a 48-year-old woman's car in the Famagusta district remains unknown. The incident occurred on Wednesday night. Police are investigating to determine the cause of the fire.

According to the Police, investigations were carried out by members of the Famagusta CID, the Fire Service, and the Department of Electromechanical Services. The fire broke out around 23:30 in a car parked at the 48-year-old's home in Vrysoules.

The scene was examined, but the exact cause of the fire has not been determined. Evidence has been collected and will be sent for scientific examination.

The Fire Service extinguished the fire. The vehicle sustained extensive damage, mainly in the engine compartment. The exterior paint of the house and the air conditioner compressor were also damaged.
