Limassol Patricide: 48-Year-Old Remanded in Custody

The 48-year-old suspect in the premeditated murder of his father, which occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, July 9th in Limassol, was brought before the Limassol District Court.

The suspect, after the murder of 80-year-old Giorgos Chatzigeorgiou, had been hospitalized at Athalassa Hospital. Following his discharge, he was re-arrested and brought before the Court.

A two-day detention order was secured against the suspect. He allegedly killed his father while he was sleeping, with approximately 9 stab wounds from a kitchen knife.
