Patras: 17-Year-Old Stabbed in Football Fan Violence Incident

A football fan violence incident in Zarouchleika, Patras, resulted in the stabbing of a 17-year-old on the night of October 27th. According to the Hellenic Police (ELAS), the 17-year-old perpetrator was arrested for intentional bodily harm and violation of legislation on weapons and sports, while his father was also arrested for neglect of supervision.
The incident began when one minor recognized the emblem of a rival team and attacked the other. The injured teen is hospitalized at the University Hospital of Rio and is out of danger.
Additionally, ELAS announced that on October 26th and 27th, 2025, eight men were arrested in Patras for offenses related to sports legislation, dangerous bodily harm, affray, and damage to property, following an attack on fans during a football match.
