Paphos: Night Out Turns Violent with Stabbing – Two Injured

Police are investigating a case of assault and injury that occurred at an establishment in the Paphos district early this morning. A 42-year-old man has been arrested.

According to the police, following a report of an attack on a patron, officers went to the scene. A 42-year-old man, following a verbal altercation, allegedly injured a 25-year-old patron with a knife.

Both men were taken to Poli Chrysochous Hospital. The 25-year-old had injuries to his neck and shoulder, while the 42-year-old had injuries to his head and face. They were then transferred to Paphos General Hospital. The 25-year-old left voluntarily, while the 42-year-old was discharged.

An arrest warrant was issued against the 42-year-old, and he was taken into custody. Investigations are continuing by the Poli Chrysochous Police Station.
