Paphos: 2 Detained for 8 Days in 48-Year-Old Woman's Abduction Case

The Paphos District Court issued an eight-day detention order against two individuals, aged 51 and 79, in connection with the abduction of a 48-year-old Romanian national.

According to the Police, the 48-year-old was allegedly held against her will in a Paphos hotel. She was found outside Paphos airport, along with the 51-year-old, calling for help.

The 48-year-old reported that the 51-year-old did not allow her to leave the hotel without escort and forced her to meet clients at a specific establishment for payment.

The suspects deny the charges, claiming that the woman was not paid for sexual acts but only to consume drinks at a bar. A third person, aged 44, is wanted.

The Paphos Crime Investigation Department continues its investigations.
