Paphos: 46-year-old arrested for stabbing supermarket employee

Police in Paphos have arrested a 46-year-old man for allegedly stabbing a supermarket employee.

According to the police, a private security guard recognized the 46-year-old as the perpetrator of a previous theft of alcoholic beverages. When the suspect attempted to flee, he allegedly attacked a 24-year-old employee with a knife, injuring him in the leg.

Members of the Paphos CID arrested the 46-year-old while he was driving in the area and confiscated the knife. The arrest was made with a court warrant.
