Paphos: 46-year-old stabs 24-year-old in supermarket – Had stolen drinks before

A 46-year-old man was arrested in Paphos for stabbing a 24-year-old supermarket employee. The perpetrator had stolen drinks from the same store in previous days.
According to the police, around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a private security guard recognized the 46-year-old as the suspect in the theft of alcoholic beverages. When the guard and a 24-year-old employee tried to stop him at the exit, the 46-year-old attacked with a knife, injuring the 24-year-old in the leg.
Members of the Paphos CID located the suspect driving a car and arrested him. A knife was found in his possession. The 46-year-old was arrested with a court warrant for investigation of the case.
