Online Scam Impersonates Tanimanidis & Makrygianni

Well-known presenter and businessman Sakis Tanimanidis and Alpha Cyprus news presenter Dimitra Makrygianni have become victims of malicious use of their image and voice in a new online scam.

Deceptive videos are circulating online using artificial intelligence (AI) and deepfake technology, seemingly urging the public to participate in an online "game" with profits of €30,000-€300,000.

Neither Sakis Tanimanidis, nor Dimitra Makrygianni, nor Alpha Cyprus have any connection with these materials.
