Nicosia: 47-year-old arrested for attacking public prosecutor

A 47-year-old Greek Cypriot woman was arrested at the airport on an outstanding warrant for attacking a public prosecutor inside a courthouse in Nicosia.

The suspect is expected to be charged today with assault and threats against the public prosecutor, an incident that occurred recently in a corridor of the courthouse.

The case is being investigated by the Nicosia CID.
