Nicosia: 23-Year-Old Arrested for 6kg of Cannabis, Methamphetamine, and Cocaine

Police have arrested a 23-year-old man, the fifth suspect in connection with the discovery of large quantities of narcotics in Nicosia.

The 23-year-old was arrested upon arrival at Larnaca Airport. An arrest warrant had been issued against him following evidence that emerged during the investigation of the case.

The case concerns the discovery of 6 kilograms and 342 grams of cannabis, 984 grams of cannabis resin, 713 grams of methamphetamine, 93 grams of cocaine, and 337 handmade cannabis cigarettes in an apartment in Nicosia on July 29.

In connection with the same case, four other men, aged 20, 21, and 22, have already been arrested and are facing charges of drug trafficking.
