Nicosia: Truck Collides with Police Car – Injuries Reported

A traffic accident occurred early this morning on the highway near GSP Stadium, in the Latsia area of Nicosia. A truck collided with a police car that was parked in the safety lane.

According to the Police, the truck driver entered the safety lane where the police car with two officers inside was stationed. The truck driver and the two police officers were injured in the collision. All were taken to Nicosia General Hospital. Initial reports indicate that their injuries are not life-threatening.

The causes of the accident are under investigation by the Police.
