Nicosia: Driver speeding at 235 km/h released on bail
The Nicosia District Court released a 23-year-old driver who was arrested for driving at 235 km/h on the Nicosia - Larnaca highway, far exceeding the 100 km/h speed limit.
The driver was released on ā¬10,000 bail.
Her trial will begin on August 18. Until then, the court ordered the suspension of her driver's license.
The alcohol test showed 39 micrograms, exceeding the allowed limit of 22.
