Nicosia: Apartment Raid, Drugs Found, Two Arrests

A police raid on an apartment in Nicosia led to the arrest of two individuals for illegal residence in Cyprus and illegal possession of narcotics.

During the search, packages containing a crystalline substance, weighing approximately 80 grams, were found. A 34-year-old was arrested for possession and possession with intent to supply a Class A controlled substance.

Additionally, zip-lock bags and precision scales with traces of white substance were discovered. A second person was also arrested for illegal residence in the country. The case is being investigated by the Drug Law Enforcement Unit (YKAN).
