A 36-year-old Greek Cypriot man was arrested in Limassol after it was discovered that he was illegally residing in an uninhabited house and possessing stolen items.

The case began when the homeowner was informed by neighbors and notified the police. Electric bicycles, scooters, and other items, believed to be stolen, were found in the house.

The 36-year-old reported to the police the theft of his personal belongings from the same house, where he claimed to be temporarily residing as a homeless person. He initially denied stealing the items but later admitted it.

He was brought before the District Court of Limassol and detained for four days. Police investigations are ongoing.

Among the findings was a collectible English-made weapon, type '1850 Tower Firegun,' which was sent for ballistic examination.
