Limassol: Arrests for Theft and Drug Use

In Limassol, police arrested a 40-year-old man found in possession of stolen goods. Members of OPE Limassol located him in an abandoned house with two tool cases and a bag, for which he could not provide adequate explanations.

Additionally, a 40-year-old man from Syria was arrested during a traffic stop. Two grams of methamphetamine and burglary tools were found in his vehicle. The arrested man is reportedly friendly with a minor who was in the vehicle, and police are investigating possible joint drug use.

The case is under investigation, and a video-recorded statement is expected to be taken from the minor.
