Limassol: Former Footballer Arrested for Demosthenous Murder

A former footballer has been arrested in Limassol in connection with the murder of businessman Stavros Demosthenous. The 45-year-old will be brought before the court for a detention order.
The arrest occurred after the discovery of a motorcycle allegedly used by the perpetrators. Police are investigating the suspect's connection to the case, as the motorcycle is registered in his name.
Stavros Demosthenous, who was the president of the Karmiotissa football team, was murdered outside his home. His son transported him to the hospital, but Demosthenous died en route.
