Limassol: 57-Year-Old Arrested for Shooting at Pharmacy

Police today arrested a 57-year-old man in connection with the illegal possession, transport, and use of a firearm and explosives, as well as for shooting in a residential area in Limassol.

Specifically, on September 12, 2025, a 61-year-old owner reported to the Police that damage had been caused to the glass display case of her pharmacy, possibly by gunfire.

Investigations revealed that between September 11 and 12, 2025, and between the hours of 8 p.m. and 8 a.m., a number of shots were fired at the glass display case of the premises.

During the investigation, testimony emerged against the 57-year-old, who was arrested with a court warrant and detained to facilitate investigations.
