Limassol: 73-Year-Old Found Dead After Disappearance at Sea

A search operation for a missing elderly man in the coastal area of Limassol ended tragically. The 73-year-old, Panikos Frantzis, was found unconscious a few hours after the search began.

According to the Police, Panikos Frantzis entered the sea for a swim while at the beach with his family. After a considerable amount of time passed and he did not return, his relatives informed the authorities.

Members of the Police and the Port Police rushed to the area and conducted searches. Shortly after, the 73-year-old was found unconscious and transported to Limassol General Hospital, where his death was confirmed.
