Limassol: Police Protection for Businessman After Arson Attacks

Police have taken measures to protect a well-known businessman in Limassol following a series of arson attacks. The businessman, who owns a liquor store in the Germasogeia area, was previously targeted in November when his luxury vehicles were destroyed.
According to Costas Michael, Head of TAE Limassol, the police have conducted a risk assessment and are implementing measures, including frequent patrols of the businessman's home and businesses. This follows an arson attack on the businessman's liquor store, which caused damage to the entrance.
Detectives from TAE Limassol are continuing their investigations to identify the perpetrators. A connection to a previous attack, in which four of the businessman's luxury vehicles were destroyed in Mouttagiaka, is also being investigated. Reports indicate that the businessman had received threats.
