Limassol: Car arson – Personal motives suspected?

Police are investigating the arson of a car in Limassol on Friday night. According to authorities, the fire broke out around 12:45 a.m. in a car parked outside a kiosk.

The fire, intentionally set with flammable material, started in the front of the vehicle while the owner was inside the kiosk. A passing driver extinguished the fire with a fire extinguisher. The car sustained extensive damage.

The perpetrator's movements were recorded by CCTV. Police investigations are ongoing, with initial indications suggesting personal motives, although other possibilities are not ruled out.
