Limassol: Man Attacks Police Station, Arrested

An incident occurred at a police station in Limassol when a 40-year-old man from Nigeria, an asylum seeker, was arrested for attacking a female police officer.

According to the police report, on 23/10, the man, who had previously caused problems at a hospitality venue, was taken to the station for verification of his details. After initially leaving, he later returned and entered the station by jumping over the fence, where he attacked the police officer.

The incident raises questions about the security of police stations and the working conditions of police officers.
