Limassol: 31-Year-Old in Critical Condition After Tumultuous Arrest

A serious incident occurred in the Limassol district, where a 31-year-old man is hospitalized in critical condition following a tumultuous arrest.

According to reports, around 1:30 AM, police intercepted a vehicle in the Parekklisia area, carrying the 31-year-old, known to the authorities, along with two 15-year-old boys.

During the attempted arrest, the 31-year-old resisted and tried to escape, endangering the police officers and the minors. Eventually, authorities removed him from the vehicle, but he continued to resist and lost consciousness.

The man was transferred to Limassol General Hospital and subsequently to Nicosia General Hospital, where he is hospitalized unconscious. He underwent a scan and drug test, which tested positive for cocaine and cannabis.
