Limassol: 21 Arrests for Illegal Immigration

Twenty-one individuals, third-country nationals, were arrested today in the Limassol district during a police operation. It was found that these individuals were residing illegally in the Republic of Cyprus.
The operation, which involved members of the Aliens and Immigration Service (YAM) and the Sub-Directorate for Green Line Surveillance and Addressing Migration Flows, began at 5 a.m. and ended around 1 p.m. Authorities are proceeding with procedures for their immediate repatriation.
Police announced that efforts to locate and repatriate individuals residing illegally in Cyprus are continuing daily.
