Larnaca: 30-year-old Detained for Arson Cases

The Larnaca District Court issued a five-day detention order against a 30-year-old man to facilitate investigations into cases of vehicle arson, attempted arson, and malicious damage.

The 30-year-old was arrested yesterday in connection with the investigation of an attempted arson of a warehouse and setting fire to plastic bins in a village in the Larnaca district.

Testimony has been secured against the 30-year-old, indicating his involvement in two other cases of vehicle arson committed on December 16 and 23.
