Larnaca: Employee stabs employer after dismissal warning

A 49-year-old man was stabbed by his 32-year-old employee in the Tsiakkilerou area of Larnaca.

According to the Police, the employer sent a text message to the employee, warning him of dismissal due to an unjustified two-day absence. Following an exchange of messages, the employee appeared and stabbed the employer in the neck.

The perpetrator was restrained by other employees until the arrival of the Police. The victim is hospitalized and out of danger, while the perpetrator is expected to be examined by a psychiatrist.
