Larnaca: Minor Brawl, Five Hospitalized

Two minors are hospitalized with serious knife wounds at Larnaca General Hospital following a brawl in the city last night.

According to Spyros Chrysostomou, Press Officer of the Larnaca Police Directorate, the brawl occurred around 10:30 PM on Wednesday, June 25, when foreign minors residing in a facility in Larnaca clashed in a parking area near the facility, using knives.

Five youths were injured and taken to the Accident and Emergency Department of Larnaca General Hospital. Three received first aid and were discharged, while two are hospitalized due to serious knife wounds.

Minors were taken to the Larnaca Police Department for questioning to determine the causes of the brawl and their involvement. Police are expected to seek arrest warrants from the Larnaca District Court. The Larnaca TAE is continuing investigations.
