Larnaca: 30-Year-Old Arrested for Arson

A five-day detention order was issued by the Larnaca District Court for a 30-year-old resident of the Larnaca district, concerning cases of vehicle arson, attempted arson, and malicious damage.

The arrest took place yesterday afternoon, as the 30-year-old allegedly attempted to set fire to a warehouse and plastic baskets in a village in the Larnaca district.

Furthermore, there is testimony linking him to two other cases of vehicle arson, which took place on December 16 and 23. The Kofinou Police Station is continuing the investigations.
