Larnaca: Student Assaults Teacher at High School

A new incident of violence occurred at a school in Larnaca, where a high school student assaulted a teacher, even resorting to physical violence.

The president of the Confederation of Parents' Associations of Secondary Education, Loizos Konstantinou, stated that the case is already being managed according to regulations. «The process has started, and everything will be done as stipulated by the regulations.»

Speaking to SIGMA, Mr. Konstantinou condemned the violence, emphasizing that students or parents can file a complaint for any grievance, but «in no case should they resort to violence against the teacher.»
