Larnaca: 19-Year-Old in Critical Condition After Traffic Accident

A 19-year-old is seriously injured in Larnaca following a traffic accident on Monday night. The 19-year-old was hit by a car driven by his friend, also 19 years old.

According to the Police, the two young men had met for the driver to pick up his friend. Under investigation circumstances, the driver hit his friend with the car, injuring him in the head.

The injured man was taken to Larnaca General Hospital and then to Nicosia General Hospital, where he is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit in critical condition. A breathalyzer test on the driver was negative. The driver was arrested, but the request for his detention was rejected by the Court.
