Larnaca: Bag Theft on the Beach – 22-Year-Old Arrested

A 21-year-old resident of Larnaca reported to the Police that a group of five people allegedly stole his bag while he was in the sea in the Finikoudes area. The bag contained his mobile phone and cash.

As part of the investigation, a 22-year-old was arrested based on a court warrant and detained.

The Police advises the public to take measures to protect their property, such as carrying only the necessary money, not carrying valuable items, and not leaving personal items unattended.

The public is urged to be vigilant and inform the Police if they notice suspicious movements, by calling 1460.
