Larnaca: Statements Today, Water Cooler Results Within the Week

The results of the State Chemistry lab tests are expected within the week, aiming to investigate the death of a 78-year-old and the hospitalization of four people in Larnaca, after consuming water from a cooler. Statements are being taken today from people in the close circle of those affected.

According to police sources, the investigation continues intensively, and so far no other people have been found to have consumed water from the same cooler. There is no indication of criminal activity, but no possibility can be ruled out before the completion of scientific tests.

The police stated that no complaint has been received about a similar incident and that there has been no need for assistance from specialized experts from abroad. An official update is expected if there are findings from the State Chemistry lab.
