Larnaca: Illegal CBD Products Seized in Raid

A coordinated raid on a premises in Larnaca led to the seizure of illegal CBD products. The raid was carried out by members of YKAN and the Intellectual Property Theft and Illegal Betting Division, in cooperation with officials from the Customs Department and the Pharmaceutical and Health Services.

During the search, conducted in the presence of the 57-year-old employee, 38 packages/products containing cannabidiol (CBD), the circulation of which is prohibited in the Republic, and 193 packages/products containing dry plant matter resembling cannabis were located and seized. The Customs Department seized an additional 147 products.

The Central Police Station of Larnaca and YKAN (Larnaca branch) are continuing the investigations.
