Larnaca: 48-Year-Old Re-arrested for Brawl

A 48-year-old man, who had already been arrested for the violent brawl in the center of Larnaca, has been re-arrested for a series of serious offenses.

The re-arrest was made as part of investigations into organized crime. The 48-year-old is already on remand in Central Prison.

A 27-year-old was also arrested for the same offenses, while a third person of Arab origin is wanted, who is involved in the events of January 17 on Grigori Afxentiou Avenue in Larnaca.

Members of the Larnaca Police Department also conducted a search of a premises connected to the 48-year-old, where evidence was collected for evaluation.

The two arrested individuals are expected to appear before the Larnaca District Court tomorrow.
