Larnaca: Arrest Warrant Issued for Attempted Murder – Perpetrator Identified

An arrest warrant has been issued for a 30-year-old Greek Cypriot man, believed to be the perpetrator of the attempted murder committed on January 23, 2025, in Larnaca. The victim is a 31-year-old Cypriot.
According to the Police, the Larnaca TAE (CID) identified the alleged perpetrator after investigations. The arrest warrant concerns serious offenses, including attempted murder, acts aimed at causing grievous bodily harm, injury, robbery, and possession of a knife.
Authorities describe the suspect as dangerous and are continuing their investigations to locate and arrest him.
The Police clarify that the incident is not related to racist motives, but to personal differences between the victim and the perpetrator. The incident took place in a shared area of an apartment building.
The victim's health condition is serious but out of danger. The Larnaca TAE continues its investigations to fully clarify the case.
