Police in Cyprus have arrested six people during organized patrols in urban areas. The arrests were made for various offenses, including illegal stay, failure to appear in court, causing disturbance, driving under the influence of alcohol, and assaulting a police officer.

During the operations, 112 drivers and 33 passengers were checked, and 14 premises were inspected. 32 drivers were reported for traffic violations, including 9 for speeding. One vehicle was impounded, and 30 alcohol tests were carried out, resulting in three reports.

Police operations continue with the aim of preventing and suppressing crime and increasing the public's sense of security.
