Cyprus: Two Arrests and 260 Traffic Violations Reported

Cyprus police conducted extensive patrols, leading to the arrest of two individuals for illegal stay and the reporting of 260 drivers for traffic violations.

During the checks, 770 drivers and passengers were stopped, and 29 premises were inspected. Of the 260 reports, 96 concerned speeding and 3 concerned driving under the influence of drugs. Six vehicles were also detained.

Police operations continue daily to prevent and suppress crime.
