Immediate intervention by police officers in Nicosia contributed to saving a patient. Around 13:10, Hippocratio Hospital called for assistance in transporting blood for a woman undergoing surgery. A police officer from team "Z" picked up blood from Nicosia General Hospital and transported it to Hippocratio at 13:21.

Additionally, the police assisted in transporting three specialist doctors from the General to Hippocratio Hospital, ensuring their timely arrival.
