Lanes Closed on Limassol-Nicosia Highway Due to Accident

Due to a traffic accident on the Limassol-Nicosia highway, after the Ayios Tychonas exit, two lanes were initially closed.

Initially, drivers heading towards Nicosia were using the Ayios Tychonas exit and re-entering from the Parekklisia entrance.

Update: The lanes have now been reopened to traffic.

The driver of an articulated vehicle, under investigation, lost control and collided with the guardrails. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

Police advised drivers to be careful and follow the instructions of the police officers.
