The Cyprus Consumer Protection Service informs about 84 products notified in the Safety Gate system (EU rapid alert system) for non-food products in the week starting 23/03/26. These products, identified in various European markets, pose risks to consumer health and safety.
The products were distributed to the competent government authorities for inspection in the Cypriot market:
- Consumer Protection Service: 23 products
- Department of Electromechanical Services: 26 products
- Department of Road Transport: 20 products
- Pharmaceutical Services Department: 8 products
- Department of Labour Inspection: 7 products

The Consumer Protection Service calls on economic operators to immediately notify the competent authorities if they have these products. It also calls on consumers to stop using the products, return them to the stores and inform the authorities.
