Heraklion: Students Build and Detonate Explosive Device at School

Shock in Heraklion, Crete, after students detonated a homemade explosive device in a schoolyard. According to neakriti.gr, the minors watched videos on social media with construction instructions.

One student was arrested and reportedly confessed to the act. Authorities are looking for two more people involved in the incident. The device contained flammable materials, small gas cylinders and firecrackers.

The students entered the school grounds by jumping over the fence and placed the device in the yard.
