Attorney General: Corruption Cases Fully Handled

The Legal Service has fully handled three cases concerning findings by the Anti-Corruption Authority, according to Attorney General Giorgos Savvides.

Mr. Savvides stated that the Trimiklini case will be sent to the Police within days. The other two cases concern a political figure and an Official of the Nicosia Water Board.

The case involving the political figure has already been sent to the Police for further investigation. The case of the Nicosia Water Board Official was sent to the Police in late November with instructions for interrogation.

The Attorney General assured that all investigations will be conducted under the guidance of the Legal Service.
