Three Sentenced to Prison for Drug Trafficking in Limassol and Larnaca

Three individuals have been sentenced to prison for two separate drug trafficking cases in Limassol and Larnaca. The Limassol Permanent Criminal Court sentenced a 32-year-old to 9 years in prison and a 26-year-old to 3.5 years.
The Larnaca Permanent Criminal Court sentenced a 31-year-old to 6 years in prison.
The first case involves the seizure of 9 kilograms of cannabis, 52 grams of cocaine, and 1,001 firecrackers at the 32-year-old's residence in Limassol on August 3, 2024. A 26-year-old was also arrested in connection with the case on August 3, 2024, and two 30-year-olds were arrested on October 30, 2024. Police are still searching for two more individuals, aged 27 and 36.
The second case involves the seizure of 1 kilogram and 72 grams of cannabis in the possession of the 31-year-old upon his arrival at Larnaca airport on October 3, 2025. Additionally, 57 grams of cannabis resin were seized from his residence.
The cases were investigated by the district units of YKAN in Limassol and Larnaca.
