Phaedon Phaedonos Questioned in Abuse Allegation Case

The suspended Mayor of Paphos, Phaedon Phaedonos, was summoned and testified at the TAE Headquarters on Wednesday evening regarding a case involving an allegation of sexual abuse of a woman.

According to OMEGAlive, the investigative team received instructions from the Legal Service and proceeded to summon Mr. Phaedonos for questioning.

The alleged victim has also testified in the same case, as well as businessman Theodoros Aristodemou, who brought the complaint back to the public's attention.

Authorities are also investigating allegations of abuse of his wife by the suspended Mayor, as well as financial irregularities in the Municipality of Paphos. The Minister of Interior, Konstantinos Ioannou, stated that a delegation from the ministry would visit Paphos on 18/2 to investigate the complaints.
