Seven Arrests for Drunk Driving, Drugs, and Knife Possession

Police conducted extensive operations overnight, leading to the arrest of seven individuals across Cyprus. The arrests were made for a range of offenses, including illegal drug possession, knife possession, and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Additionally, 15 vehicles were seized as part of investigations into traffic offenses. Checks were carried out on various establishments, and over 1,050 vehicle checks were conducted, resulting in 170 traffic complaints. Of these, 39 related to driving under the influence of alcohol and 65 to speeding.

These operations are part of a broader police plan to prevent crime and enhance citizen safety.
