Police Operations: Seven Arrests and 45 Drivers Under the Influence

Cyprus Police conducted extensive patrols in urban areas, resulting in the arrest of seven individuals for various offenses, including driving under the influence and illegal possession of an offensive weapon.

During the operations, 960 vehicles were checked, and 1,106 people were inspected. 62 premises were also inspected, resulting in five complaints.

Traffic controls resulted in 261 complaints, with 45 of them concerning drivers under the influence of alcohol. A total of 573 alcohol tests were carried out, and 21 vehicles were impounded.

Police operations continue daily to prevent and suppress crime.
